Historian

As part of a larger team support the Army University Press in their online presence activities including website, social media, and analytics. 

Essential Functions/PWS Requirements

• Research and Writing Support for Films and Multimedia Assets that use historical case studies as their basis.
• Assist in the production, revision, and narration of scripts for short and feature films that are historically accurate.
• Research historic photos, video clips, and maps for inclusion into documentary films and multimedia assets

Required Skills, Qualifications & Certifications

• Bachelor's Degree in History OR related field
• Working knowledge of current Army and Joint Doctrine
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
• US Citizen 

Desired Skills, Qualifications & Certifications

• Masters Degree or PhD in History or related field

Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions

• Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or received approved exemption status.
