Who are we?
Best Appliance is a family owned, premier major appliance repair service company that appreciates our employees. We are currently looking for a FULL-TIME office staff member to grow with us as our business continues to grow.
What skills are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who:
- Is comfortable answering a multi-line phone system
- Can identify and assess customers' needs and achieve a high level of customer satisfaction
- Can schedule service calls for technicians, and route their schedules
- Can learn the industry specific software that we use
- Has skill in task prioritization and can fill in around the office as needed
- Has a positive attitude, and is comfortable working closely as a team with other office staff and technicians
- Has strict attention to detail
What you need to qualify:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a heavy call volume environment and customer service representative in an office setting
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Must submit to criminal background, drug screen, and driving record check
- Regular and predictable attendance
- A proven track record of problem-solving ability, attention to detail, being a self-starter and flexible to handle the tasks of the day
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Must be able to work well in a team environment. Our service process requires good communication between all departments for success
- Must have intermediate computer experience and knowledge
- Must be a motivated self-starter who can work independently unsupervised
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
What your day would look like:
- Answering phone calls using a multi-line phone system, providing real-time scheduling support by booking appointments logically and efficiently, preventing conflicts
- Handling customers’ needs and providing solutions within strict timelines and following up to ensure resolutions and the highest customer satisfaction
- Assisting the technicians with office support. Using a database to look up information and enter detailed notes
- Perform front desk duties by maintaining cleanliness and order to the office.
- Maintaining work orders for quality control
- Working in a casual and wonderful work environment! We have a small office with a fantastic teamwork environment.
Additional Information:
- Start wage is $16.00 per hour / based on experience
