What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Best Fiber?
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair. We are looking for someone that is motivated to advance within our company.
Responsibilities:
- Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings
- Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
- Order and replace broken parts or equipment
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields
- Familiarity with hand-held tools, equipment, welding equipment
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Normal Hours for this Position are Monday through Thursday 5:30am until 3:30pm and Friday 5:30am until approx. 11:00am. However, we are currently only working 33 to 36 hours per week.
- All breaks are paid.
- Paid holidays and benefits after 90 days.
- Paid vacation after 6 months.
- BlueCross BlueShield health insurance is provided for an employee at a cost of $25 per week. The company pays the remainder.
- Eligible for a raise after 90 days.
- Pay is based on experience with a starting range between $18.50 and $21 per hour.
