About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive individual to serve as Manager of Title Production for Best Homes Title Agency and BHT Commercial Title & Escrow Services to administer our multi-state residential and commercial title insurance and search services. This is a management role for a self-motivated individual who is task and deadline oriented. They will assist in reviewing, recommending, implementing, and rolling out new technology and software additions.

You are comfortable with technology and seek to grow efficiencies through continually evolving technology advancements. You are confident in utilizing your knowledge of title insurance underwriting guidelines; however, never hesitate to seek guidance when presented with a new situation or nuance. You are not intimidated by high client service level expectations or challenges associated with meeting those timelines.

Requirements, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• This is an on-site position in Farmington Hills, MI.
• 2 to 5 years of proven management experience of a title production team.
• Technically proficient with search and underwriting guidelines, concepts and risk associated with all residential and commercial title products provided in the title insurance industry.
• Ability to manage multiple business flows simultaneously.
• Knowledge of technology including common business software platforms as well as common title and escrow software systems used by the title insurance industry, including but not limited to Resware, Data Trace, Title Point and numerous state, county, and municipal sites.
• Ability to work with other departmental managers and senior leadership to resolve and identify issues and modify, create, and implement new departmental goals and processes while continually seeking ways to optimize and improve performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Leads by example, has high quality standards, motivates teams to perform exceptionally, provides constructive feedback and holds teams accountable.
• Ability to create and maintain measurable metrics and a uniform process for managing and ensuring timelines, accuracy, and accountability, while analyzing trends to determine staffing needs.
