Summary/Objective:
At Beta Bionics, we are driven by a common goal. We are striving to improve the lives of people living with diabetes and reduce their data and decision-making overload. The Salesforce Architect will collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements. You will translate these requirements into an executable technology roadmap and responsible for creating & delivering, in a timely and accurate fashion, CRMs and workflow solutions using Salesforce/Apex, Force, Visualforce and J2EE technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the application design, development, and support of Salesforce related projects.
The Salesforce Architect must be passionate about designing a solution that provides an exceptional experience to the user and excited to work closely with many facets of the business to accelerate our growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Partner with our business transformation team to design all facets of our application built on Salesforce.com and associate applications, from concept to implementation
- Experience in integrating 3rd party applications into Salesforce
- Design scalable and sustainable solutions alongside our technical leaders, providing detailed design documentation, proofs-of-concept, and prototypes
- Map out and align solutions to a technology roadmap that falls within our strategic objectives for the product org
- Recognize and weave common objectives among different initiatives into one vision
- Map out and maintain our application architecture, data architecture, and journey maps of our application experience
- Work closely with a team of managers, admins, and developers to realize your solution
- Challenge senior stakeholders to elevate both business processes and technology
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Direct: Will directly manage IT personnel as required
- Indirect: IT consultancy vendors
Required Education, Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or information systems management, or equivalent experience
- 3 or more years of experience working as a Salesforce Architect
- 5 or more years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer
- Possess a deep knowledge in applying both Salesforce declarative and programmatic development capabilities
- Experienced in designing, developing, and supporting Salesforce.com implementations
- Experienced in Salesforce reporting and other reporting platform such as Tableau
- Strong understanding of software development (agile), common adjacent systems, and infrastructure
- Salesforce Advanced Administrator and Salesforce Platform Developer II Certification is a plus!
- Experience with RootStock Cloud ERP, developed on the Salesforce Cloud Platform is a plus!
Work Environment and Personal Protective Equipment
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, and scanners
- Personal protective equipment may be required for laboratory or field work
