Overview
The position is open for a seasoned candidate with experience in software license management and compliance. The selected candidate will be responsible for understanding different contracts, software licensing agreements and determine the risk/obligation to the organization. The selected candidate should be ready to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Review, analyze and evaluate different software licenses including Microsoft licenses, IBM Mainframe licenses as well as Informatica licenses.
- Review and understand the contractual agreements, SOWs, Service Agreements, Software licensing agreements and vendor agreements.
- Ensure appropriate contract terms are in place to protect the financial and commercial interest of BetaNXT.
- Identify any compliance risk due to contractual obligations and determine the risk mitigation strategies.
- Work cross functionally with Procurement and legal teams on different contract agreements.
- Run scripts to extract data and create reports/dashboard for presenting it to BetaNXT leadership team.
- Perform the audit of quarterly billing of BetaNXT vendors.
- Participate in budgeting and audit activities.
- Interact and interface with BetaNXT vendors.
Skills
- Should have experience in software license management and compliances.
- Should have experience reviewing, negotiating contractual agreements, Vendor agreements and software licensing agreements.
- Should have exposure to Microsoft Office tools and should be able create/present dashboards and presentation to higher leadership.
- Should be able to work with cross functional teams independently.
- Should have strong organizational and time management skills.
- Candidate with knowledge of SQL would be preferential.
- Ability to learn quickly and work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong soft skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and communication skills.
