Day (United States of America) This position will have primary responsibilities locally and regionally within BILH.Job Description:
Essential Duties & Responsibilities including but not limited to:
1. Observes measures and reports on departments’ performance and productivity. Ensures daily operational needs are met.
2. Develops and implements system-wide departmental policy, procedures and systems and effectively supports the Supply Chain leaders at assigned business units.
3. Supports BILH Contracting and Value Analysis Teams to manage product changes and conversions, ensuring compliance is attained. Monitors and ensures compliance with BILH’s GPO working collaboratively to ensure contract compliance and standardization.
4. Completes site visits, meetings and regularly scheduled calls with Supply Chain leaders at assigned business units to direct, support and mentor. Identifies areas of improvement and areas of Supply Chain growth opportunities.
5. Drives LEAN methodology in order to provide the full continuum of health care services and the best quality patient centered care.
6. Works closely with Clinical end users and ensures product substitutions or changes are clearly communicated and user needs are met in a timely and professional manner. Creates and implements sustainable PPE plan.
7. Works with Senior Management teams at each business unit and the BILH Supply Chain Leadership Team on strategic planning and operational improvements.
8. Develops metrics to understand performance and staffing levels.
9. Leverages ERP/MMIS systems and technology to their fullest capacity evaluating and adjusting business process as appropriate.
10. Keeps current on technology, regulatory and operational trends in the health care industry which may impact product/service utilization.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Licensure, Certification & Registration: CMRP preferred; Lean Certification Green or Black Belt preferred
Experience: Must have a minimum of ten years’ experience in a hospital setting that includes Materials Management and Supply Chain Management with experience in managing multiple operational departments. Previous experience Directing multiple sites/business units.

Ability to analyze, organize and delegate responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to develop and meet budgetary goals
Professional skills to effectively work with and communicate with clinicians, physicians and hospital administrative staff
Exemplary written and oral communication skills
Team building and organization leadership skills, and exceptional organizational skills required
Ability to engage vendors and build vendor relationships. Also build and maintain customer relationships
Capacity to assess the needs of the business units and find ways to contribute by ensuring daily operations run smoothly and as efficiently as possible
Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Experience with Micorsoft Office, Smartsheet, Meditech and PeopleSoft, experience with WorkDay a plus.
