Job Description
SUMMARY:
The RPS/Foster Care Supervisor oversees the RPS/FC worker workers and the cases assigned to them. They are responsible for overseeing documentation and paperwork requirements of RPS:FC Workers. The supervisor is responsible for foster families reaining in compliance with regulations, and with agency policies and procedures. Supervisors will ensure that their supervisees have received all necessary orientation and training. They will be involved in program development and ensure that positive inter-agency communication is maintained.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
A Master’s Degree is required in the field of Social Work or a related field. A minimum of two years experience in case work and experience working in the child welfare system is highly preferred. Experience in performing the functions of this position description, particularly the essential duties is also highly preferred.
