Summary
Completes resident's life-story overview; coordinates person-centered meaningful activities; participates in required departmental meetings and completes QAPI assignments.
Records, updates, and maintains person-centered information into computerized documentation system (assessments, change of status, progress notes, MDS, attendance) ensuring State guidelines are met and Bethesda standards are followed.
Develops monthly activity calendar per neighborhood using resident recommendations and input from all neighborhood disciplines.
Implements planned activities. Prearranges supplies and equipment for neighborhood and person-centered activities. Works with neighborhood team members to set up and escort residents and guests to activity while initiating and encouraging participation.
Cleans up after each activity is completed. Monitors activities in the activity center and keeps work area clean while ensuring resident safety at all times.
May be assigned other duties as appropriate.
