Marriott’s Global Design Strategies team is looking for an individual who blends great analytics and management skills with smart business sense and is excited about joining a team that thrives when/where design and travel converge. This person is agile, able to intertwine solid business management principles, communication and customer service skills. As someone who acts as the business lead and facilitates multiple department initiatives and programs, this person can quickly identify issues and is able to develop solutions that work within time and budget constraints without compromising the big idea. This candidate is a quick thinker, problem solver and an excellent communicator who is driven to succeed.

The Business Analytics Manager provides high-quality business analysis, oversight and tracking of all work throughout the Global Design organization. Types of work will include leading discrete projects and delivering results and supporting the business process design/re-engineering where/if needed.

EXPECTED CONTRIBUTIONS

 Develop dashboards and tools to present financial and analytical information for business leads to make decisions and manage the business utilizing Power BI or similar programs quickly and effectively.
 Integrate data from several sources and provide analytics for scheduling, financial, and resource planning.
 Use data and analytics from new and existing systems to develop forecasting tools to be utilized across Global Design.
 Utilize project management software and accounting systems to track multiple projects for accurate reporting and forecasting to internal stakeholders.
 Managing invoice payment process for vendors and consultants with accounting and Global Design business leads.
 Initiate and manage the contracting process for consultants and contractors across accounting, legal, and risk management departments.
 Identify and help to implement business process enhancements that increase efficiency and allow for consistency of efforts.
 Develop relationships with and provide constant and consistent communications to necessary stakeholders.
 Special projects as required by business needs.

 Expertise in a variety of analytics, automation, and presentation applications including Microsoft (specifically Power BI, Power, Automate, Excel, and PowerPoint), OASIS (Salesforce); Smartsheet.


Education/Experience:
 Bachelor’s degree in business management, accounting, data analytics and/or equivalent years of experience.
 Minimum 4 years of progressive business or management experience.
