The Director of Bethesda Reggio Spanish Immersion Preschool seeks a professional, self-motivated, bi-lingual executive assistant to help lead a fast-growing school in downtown Bethesda.
A successful candidate works well as part of a team, is detail-oriented and organized, and should love working around children in a fun, fast paced environment.
This position has daily customer service encounters with a diverse group of families. Applicant must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and technical competency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint). The right candidate will have the ability to accomplish multiple tasks with tight deadlines, while still providing excellent customer service to visitors and clients. Must be willing to learn and utilize a variety of computer software programs to generate reports, contracts, and administrative data.
Examples of Important Duties
- Works directly with the Director and Owner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills verbally and in writing
- Computer skills using Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Social Media
- Conduct tours for new families and manage communications to families.
- Organize and maintain important files and records
- Help with special community social events
- Greet parents daily always with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Prepare weekly communications to parents.
- Goal oriented—organized with a high work ethic
- Enjoys working as a Team and expects the same professionalism in return.
