CHILD CARE LEAD (12 months)
Various Elementary Schools
Monday – Friday
Split Shift – 5.5 hours per day: Approximately 6:15 a.m. – 9 a.m. / 3:30 p.m. - 6:15 p.m.
Straight shifts for summer/school closures (flexible for education or other employment)
Responsibilities:
- Supervision of children
- Greeting parents upon arrival/departure
- Planning and implementing activities
- Maintaining a healthy and safe environment for children
- Staff members must follow professional development guidelines for Department of Human Services and Keystone Stars compliance
Qualifications:
- 2,500 hours of non-sibling experience with children
- High School diploma or GED
- College credits in Early Childhood Education or Human Services Field preferred
- Two letters of reference verifying non-sibling experience working with children
- Child Care Employee Physical completed with TB test
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR Certification/willingness to obtain
Clearance Requirements:
- Criminal Check, Child Abuse, DHS FBI, NSOR
Starting Rate: $15.85 per hour - Benefit Eligible Position
