About the Role
The Payroll Analyst will be a key member of BetMGM’s growing Payroll team and will work alongside the wider Finance team and the Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be organized, have strong attention to detail and demonstrate a passion to build a deep payroll knowledge base. Above all, the candidate must be passionate about what they do!
Responsibilities
- Manage the company’s non-exempt timesheet submission and approval process
- Audit Time Block reports for all reported and calculated time
- Troubleshoot and resolve reported time vs paid time issues
- Analyze and monitor all employee time entries and report to management
- Ensuring payroll/time impacting business process tasks are approved
- Review and audit Time & Attendance activities when company policies are modified
- Partner with Benefits team to ensure accurate pay
- Supporting the resolution of employee payroll queries
- Managing FLSA processing in payroll platform
- Working with HR, Benefits and Accounting teams on payroll matters
- Supporting the requirements and design of payroll projects
- Support the wider Payroll team to run the full cycle bi-weekly payroll and tax validations
- Support the Payroll team & HR department on any ad hoc related tasks
Essential Functions
- Must be able to stand or sit and operate computers and other technological devices for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of payroll administration experience (or similar).
- Minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience with payroll software (Workday preferred).
- Knowledge of Time & Attendance processes.
- Advance knowledge of Excel – Pivot tables, V-Lookup, etc.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook).

Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus.
