Betsy Ross Nursing & Rehab Center is a 120-bed skilled nursing facility, undergoing AN EXCITING LARGE-SCALE RENOVATION UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT & ADMINISTRATION, seeking an RN Unit Manager to join our caring & dedicated nursing team! The RN Unit Manager prioritizes resident safety and monitors the resident care activity performance by staff on unit.
Assumes responsibility/accountability for residents on assigned unit. Assists in establishing daily operations of resident care on unit and investigates incidents or accidents timely.
Coordinates, implements, and evaluates the resident’s plan of care.
Relates positively, effectively, and appropriately with residents, families, and other facility staff
Troubleshoot any concerns, provide support, and communicate to other members of the Interdisciplinary Team, residents, families, and/or staff pertinent information to assure resident/family needs are met
Perform daily rounds and assessments of all residents on the unit

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
Hold’s RN license that is current and good standing in New York
Recent management or supervisor experience preferred, SNF a huge plus!
Should be familiar with the NYS DOH regulations and survey process
Must know the med pass process and documentation requirements in SNF
