What are the responsibilities and job description for the Automotive Restoration Body Man/Painter position at Better Built of NW Florida, Inc.?
Job Summary:
We are looking for a self-motivated, quality-driven, proud-of-your-work type of person
that can go from start to finish on any type of restoration project for antique Cars and Trucks.
To be successful in the role, you will need to be proficient in the following categories:
*Rust repair
*Fiberglass repair
*Body fillers
*Paint, Primers, Thinner, Reducers Etc.
*Pre-paint sanding and priming
*Body part, Frame, Interior, Glass removal, and install
*Taping, Masking and decal replacement
*Metal Manipulation
*Finnish Painting/3-5 years’ experience
*Welding: stick/mig/plasma cutting
*Grinding, Sanding, air/hand/electric
* Proficient with hand tools/air/electric
Safety and Quality is a Must
High school education
Technical school preferred
Excellent work ethic
Reliable transportation
Takes care of equipment
Keeps Work areas Clean
Follow All Fire and Safety Rules /Guards/Eye Protection ect.
Able to lift 50 pounds
This is a Restoration shop Not an Autobody Repair Facility
Initially work will include the restoration of heavy equipment, trucks and trailers.
Salary is Based on Experience and Performance /$22.00-$25;00 per hour
