Medical Finance Manager

Job Title: Finance Director - Medical

Company Overview: Our Company is a recognized healthcare practice dedicated to providing patient care and various medical services. We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join our management team and play a crucial role in shaping the financial strategies that drive our success.

Position Overview: As a Medical Finance Director, you will be an integral part of the management team and report directly to the owner, and also, collaborating closely with key members to establish financial objectives, develop annual budgets, and ensure the financial health of the organization. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing the management of cash flow, the billing office, maintaining financial accounting on Quickbooks, generating financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Cash
• Manage and reduce expenses
• Review of all contracts on a regular basis to find cost savings
• Financial Planning and Analysis:
• Work collaboratively with the management team to set financial objectives and develop comprehensive annual budgets.
• Generate financial reports, analyze key performance indicators, and provide insights to drive informed decision-making.
• Billing Office Oversight:
• Manage and oversee the billing office operations to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
• Manage billing office to use best practices to find opportunities for enhanced billing, optimize revenue cycle management and enhance overall financial performance.
• Financial Accounting Systems:
• Maintain quickbooks financial accounting systems to ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement upgrades and enhancements as needed.
• Financial Forecasting:
• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts to support strategic planning and resource allocation.
• Monitor industry trends and financial market conditions to proactively identify opportunities and risks.
• Inventory Control:
• Play an active role in the development of establishing and maintaining inventory control and recommendations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or relevant certification is a plus.
• Proven experience in financial management within the healthcare industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of healthcare billing processes, revenue cycle management, and compliance regulations.
• Proficient in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different departments.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and strategic thinker.
