Job Title: Caregiver
Duties:
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in need
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Accompany clients to appointments and outings
- Document and report any changes in client's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals
Skills:
- Experience in hospice care or a willingness to learn
- Ability to lift and transfer clients safely
- Knowledge of social work principles and practices
- Experience in dementia care and understanding of related behaviors
- Comfortable working with individuals on the autism spectrum
- Previous experience in childcare or working with children with special needs
- Familiarity with direct support systems and techniques
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client transportation needs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
