POSITION SUMMARY:

We’re actively looking for an energetic Guest Services Representative who is not only customer service-minded but also enjoys the dynamic nature of the hospitality industry.

As our Part-Time Guest Services Representative, your day will consist of various tasks, including answering inquiries about our vacation rentals, accurately managing reservations, creating detailed reports using industry-specific software, and helping keep our listings and online content up to date. You’ll also be actively on the move, running errands and delivering concierge items like groceries to our guests, ensuring their stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Be the main contact for inquiries and guest communications about our vacation rentals, managing reservations on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo.
  • Address and resolve guest requests, comments, and complaints promptly, ensuring that every interaction contributes to a positive and memorable stay.
  • Go beyond the desk to deliver concierge items such as groceries and gifts, enhancing the guest experience with thoughtful and tailored services.
  • Support marketing and sales using Canva to update website listings and content on platforms.
  • Work with industry software tools, including Breezeway, LiveRez, CRM systems, Point Central, and Quickbooks, to streamline operations and maintain efficient workflow.
  • Handle various office tasks as needed, contributing to our operations' overall efficiency and success.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Hospitality, Customer Service or Property Management experience preferred, but willing to train if you’re the right fit.
  • Strong team player able to work closely with Operations, Property Managers, and the Guest Services Supervisor
  • Able to communicate professionally, accurately and manage your time effectively.
  • Excellent people skills
  • Comfortable using technology and proficient in typing and computer applications
  • Familiarity with the Sandpoint region is a plus
  • A valid driver’s license is required
  • Weekend availability is required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Wage: $18

Bonus: Opportunity to earn discretionary bonuses during the summer and holiday seasons

Schedule: Flexibility in availability is necessary. Weekend and holiday availability is required.
