We are hiring for a 1st shift Dock/Shipping Support/Driver reporting to the Master Scheduler.
Job Summary
This position is responsible to support dock operations and shipping operations that includes delivering or pick up of goods at our vendors, receive incoming goods from suppliers/vendor per company specifications, data entry in our system, some basic woodshop experience. Must have experience in operating power tools such as circular saw, nail gun, and drill.
Essential Functions
- Load and unload products using pallet jack or hi-lo. Fulfill duties of Material Handler and other basic dock duties such as packing, and organizing to keep dock area neat, safe and organized.
- Drive Box Truck or company pick-up truck to pick up/deliver goods safely, and damaged free.
- Inspects incoming shipment and outgoing shipments per work instructions
- Perform data entry in E2 shop for Receiving and Vendor PO transactions.
- Pulls job traveler and/or PO for the shipment.
- Verifies the packing slip/BOL to the incoming product.
- Process vendor/supplier PO as needed.
- Interacting with vendor and suppliers for missing paperwork, qty errors etc, as well as working closely with Quality to resolve vendor issues as they arise.
- Fill out established DMR documents as required for rejected shipments.
- Supports inventory accuracy for stock items - “E2 to stock”
- Assist in maintaining packaging and shipping supplies as needed.
- Assist with counting of physical inventory as needed.
- Ensure that shipping area is accessible and safe.
- Organize work area for orderliness at all times.
- Basic wood crating of product when needed.
- Maintain Recycle Program
- Wear designated safety equipment.
- Adherence to all company policies and procedures.

Expected Working Hours
M-Th: 7:30am – 4:30pm
F: 8am – 2pm
Preferred Education and Experience
High school diploma. Familiarity with computers and Microsoft Excel and Word documents.
The applicant must have a Chauffeur License or the ability to obtain one by passing a written test through the Secretary of State, a background check including driving record and a Department of Transportation required drug screen and physical.
