Under direct supervision, is responsible for general office duties; prepares basic reports; maintains computerized files; and performs a variety of administrative duties.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Enters and updates data in a personal computer utilizing spreadsheet or database applications; types moderately complex letters and memos utilizing a personal computerPrepares invoices, logs, payments, deposits, and other financial transactions for the department; maintains department work orders/requests/tickets Answers telephone, routes calls and takes messages utilizing discretionMaintains department calendar(s); assists with events, projects or programs; maintains statistics or databases and develops reportsMaintains various types of files; accesses and files information of a confidential natureOpens and distributes mail; makes copies; prepares packets and distributes information/product accordingly; maintains office supplies Responds to general inquiries regarding department or workPerforms related duties as required
