**Job Summary:**

As a Catering Sales Representative, you will play a pivotal role in driving our catering sales efforts and ensuring the growth and success of our company. You will actively seek out new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with clients, and collaborate with our culinary and event planning teams to create memorable events that exceed expectations. Your ability to understand client needs, present tailored solutions, and close deals will be crucial to your success in this role.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Prospect, identify, and secure new catering sales opportunities through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients and consistently achieve or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their event requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
  • Collaborate closely with the culinary and event planning teams to design creative and personalized catering proposals that align with client expectations.
  • Present catering options to clients in a compelling and persuasive manner, highlighting the unique value propositions of our services.
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts to ensure favorable terms for both the client and the company.
  • Coordinate tastings and site visits with clients to showcase our offerings and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions using CRM software.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging market opportunities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process, from initial contact to post-event follow-up.
  • Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and networking events to expand the company's presence and foster valuable connections.

**Qualifications:**

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Proven track record of successful sales experience, preferably in the catering, hospitality, or event industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation abilities.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying and capitalizing on sales opportunities.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Knowledge of food trends, event planning, and catering logistics is a plus.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate client schedules.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $18.00 - $20.00/hour.
