Our goal is to bring exciting change to the plate—and Beyond. OVERVIEW The Food Technologist has the primary role of supporting the research and development group located in El Segundo, CA. The R&D team is a matrix organization dedicated to creating food products using plant-based proteins with a deep understanding of protein chemistry and process dependent behavior. The Food Technologist will be responsible for the safe and efficient development, modification and manufacture of food products, samples, processes and leading production trials. The Sciences Division of Beyond Meat is looking for an outstanding individual to join science and engineering teams located in El Segundo, CA. This successful, self-motivated, creative, team-oriented, resourceful, adaptable, and results-oriented individual will have a keen understanding and extensive hands-on experience with the ability to think beyond standard methods, independently lead and reach conclusions, and clearly deliver results within a matrix organization. You will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact in our core scientific understanding, initiate creative product development, and develop into leadership roles using the skills described herein.
