National marketing and promotions agency is seeking an Account Executive to help manage the clients of the Field Marketing department. The AE will serve as the main point of contact for the client — communicating client needs to various departments, tracking client deliverables and managing timelines/schedules. A strong sense of accountability and attention to detail will be essential in enabling the individual to thrive in this environment.

Essential Job Duties and Skills:

  • Earn and keep each client’s respect and confidence.
  • Working with the client and agency team developing program goals, building and presenting Activation Plans and Playbooks, and metrics to track and measure performance.
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks including composing correspondence such as client memos, creating PowerPoint presentations, project timelines and contact reports.
  • Able and willing to be hands-on and support field marketing executions as needed.
  • Arrange event/market visits for clients and coordinate with field staff on all client-related activity.
  • Expert at building persuasive PowerPoint presentation decks, summary and recommendation documents for presentation to client and agency decision-makers.
  • Ability to build timelines and proactively forecast potential hurdles. Ensure all client deadlines are met.
  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of, and be conversant in, each client’s business — key issues, competitive situation and industry trends.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and professional demeanor while effectively balancing the dual expectations of your clients and the agency.
  • Support the team in tracking budgets and communicating changes to clients in a timely manner.
  • Manage the internal creative process from brainstorming through production, client approvals and delivery.
  • Conduct and organize meetings that provide solid strategy, direction and resources for the creative teams. Provide an accurate record of all decisions made in meetings and ensure the individuals and departments follow through to completion.


  • Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2-4 years of account/agency experience required.
  • Experience working in the field marketing or experiential marketing category.
  • Alcohol beverage experience a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to frequently travel overnight and on weekends when required.
  • Able to lift, move and carry 30-50 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • · Position contingent upon successful completion of background and motor vehicle check.
    • Due to the nature of this role, a clear and clean current and past driving record will be required.
  • Ability to multi-task.

This position includes nights and weekends and frequent overnight travel.
