With many years of experience and a degree in Coding and Billing, she realized most organizations lack processes and need to regain control over their billing. Oftentimes, billers have little knowledge and understanding of the complexities which causes inconsistency and lost revenue. Recognizing the critical need for effective solutions, BG Southern Billing was created.

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. The Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely payment collection, and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

- Process accounts receivable transactions, posting payments, and issuing credit memos

- Conduct account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial data

- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and address customer inquiries

- Maintain documentation of customer interactions

- Monitor medical collection activities as necessary

- Utilize financial concepts to analyze customer accounts and identify potential risks or opportunities

- Provide exceptional phone etiquette when communicating with customers and providers

Qualifications:

- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform accurate calculations

- Previous experience in accounts receivable or related field preferred

- Knowledge of medical billing processes is preferred

- Proficient in account reconciliation techniques

- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
