6-12 month contract
Responsibilities
- Create product prototypes prior to creating final product
- Adjust approach towards designs based on feedback provided
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align design strategies
- Translate high-level goals into actionable design plans.
- Participate in design thinking sessions to generate innovative ideas.
- Conduct user research and leverage insights from Marketing, Voice of Customer, and Customer Insights teams to inform your design decisions.
- Advocate for users throughout the design process.
- Create visually compelling designs that reflect the brand identity and resonate with the target audience.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
- Provide assets, specifications, and guidance during the development phases
- Brainstorm and sketch creative design concepts that address user pain points and enhance the overall user experience.
- Develop graphics, icons, and visual assets that enhance user engagement.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of a design system that ensures consistency and efficiency across products.
- Craft design guidelines that facilitate a seamless user experience.
- Build interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and user flows.
- Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs based on user insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Interaction Design, or a related field
- 3 - 5 years of experience as a Product Designer, UI/UX Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills, creative thinking, and user-centered design approach.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams.
- Experience with Design Thinking and Agile Framework methodologies.
- Expertise in designing intuitive user interfaces (UI) and interactions across various digital platforms, including web, mobile, and software applications.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Jira, etc.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with Product Managers, Marketing, and Customer Insights teams.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate design concepts and decisions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing design challenges.
- Proven track record of working in an agile environment.
- Strong understanding of agile and lean methodologies, as well as design thinking principles.
