What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Tax Manager position at BGSF?
BGSF is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Manager to fill a full-time position for privately held company in the Addison, TX area. This will be a full-time and on-site position, with no exceptions. Extensive knowledge and experience in sales and use, state and local tax, planning and research as well as proven management abilities is a requirement.
Other primary duties include, but may not be limited to:
- Act as primary point of contact for all tax related matters
- Communicate with all outside tax and audit advisors
- Ensure compliance, timely filings, and oversight of general tax functions and implementations
- Mentoring and assisting younger professionals.
- Conducting tax research, consulting, and planning projects to identify
- Offer solutions to solve client tax issues.
Primary Requirements:
- Minimum of BBA in Accounting or Taxation is required
- CPA or Pursuant
- Minimum of 7 years of tax experience
- Both public accounting and industry tax experience would be HIGHLY preferred
- possess a high level of professionalism, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate effectively both in writing and in person.
