Position Summary - Responsible for the day to day operation of the Branch's Parts, Service and overall maintenance for the location, in compliance with established policies and procedures. Plans, directs and controls the activities of employees at the location to ensure the overall growth and profit objectives are met; formulates the major objectives, specific plans, plan procedures and programs for the location and evaluates the department's results and performance against objectives. Maintains the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving the customer and identifying their needs.

· Assesses present and future needs, trends, problems and profit opportunities of the Parts and Service for location.
· Establishes short and long term operating and financial objectives for Parts and Service within the Company's overall plans and policies
· Ensures that approved policies and objectives are clearly understood and effectively applied within the department. ·
· Formulates annual and monthly sales/profit objectives and expense budget in accordance with company objectives.
· Reviews and appraises the results of activities within the department and takes appropriate actions as necessary.
· Travels with outside sales force and own on to customer locations on a regular basis promoting Service, Parts, and Dealerships.
· Coordinates the processing of warranty claims with Warranty Manager and administers warranty and policy adjustments in the most fair and honest manner for the customer, dealership and vendor.
· Develops merchandising strategies to ensure the objectives are obtained.
· Promotes safe work habits and ensures that safety rules are followed.
· Develops and maintains policies and practices which will ensure positive customer relations.
· Stays familiar with the activities of competition, market conditions and department operation; keeps the General Manager informed.
· Conducts regular sales meetings.
· Trains and develops personnel.
· Establish schedules and methods for providing facility maintenance services; identify resource needs; review needs with appropriate management staff; allocate resources accordingly.
· Make recommendations for changes and improvements to existing standards, policies, and procedures; participate in the implementation of approved policies and procedures; monitor work activities to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
· Monitor and control supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepare documents for equipment procurement; prepare specifications and contracts for contract services.
· Coordinate construction projects, remodels, and other special projects as required.
· Coordinate with and oversee contractors providing contract services.
· Key holder for all assigned facilities.
· On site liaison for internal security contact.

· Prefer three years previous parts department experience, consisting of both inside and outside parts selling.
· Prefer three years’ experience managing service
· Requires thorough knowledge of all phases of the parts and service department.
· Must display excellent leadership and communication skills.
· Must have positive can-do attitude.
· Must have strong work ethics and commitment to extra hours when needed.
