Mobile Employment Specialist
POSITION SUMMARY: Support individuals with a substance use and/or co-occurring disorder to obtain and maintain competitive employment of their choice, utilizing evidence-based practice. Provide the skill building and supports necessary to assist the individual in obtaining and maintaining their own goals related to employment and career advancement.
Accountable and responsible for the following results:
Direct services:
- Provide vocational counseling and career exploration for persons in recovery.
- Develop job sites in accord with individual needs.
- Provide on-the-job training and support services.
- Conduct career planning classes and vocational groups as needed.
- Provide direct service in accordance with contractual guidelines.
- Staff will be mobile, spending at least 90% of their time in the community.
- Participate as a member of the Employment Team.
Quality Management:
- Maintain records in accord with policies and procedures
- Produce reports as assigned
- Meet or exceed established outcome measures of BHcare and funding source.
- Attends training sessions, workshops, seminars as requested by supervisor, or as needed for professional development, or as required for accreditation or licensing.
- Required to use own vehicle on company business or to transport clients
- Regular and consistent attendance is an essential function of this position
- May perform other assignments and duties as assigned.

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred. In lieu of Bachelor’s degree: Associates degree or College coursework equivalent (2 years) and 2 years work experience in behavioral health field; OR high school diploma and minimum of 4 years of experience in behavioral health field or RSS certification, mental health certification or related and acceptable training and lived experience compatible with person served required.
- Ability to complete training as may be required for position and program assigned.
- Knowledge of Psychiatric Rehabilitation is desirable.
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license. Must maintain an acceptable driving record and be insurable at a reasonable rate under the Organization’s auto insurance plan.
- Must be proficient with PCs and Microsoft Office Word & Outlook, and if applicable ability to navigate through electronic health record.
Salary : $20 - $28
