BHFO is currently seeking a Team Leader for the Quality Control Department.  BHFO Quality Control Team Lead is a strong leader who pro-actively leads our QC Department to meet or exceed productivity expectations while ensuring BHFO’s culture and goals.   The QC Team Lead is responsible for putting processes and training in place to ensure their team is able to meet the demands of the workload and that the work is done efficiently.  Team leads must lead by example in all Core Values and should actively coach, teach and train their teams. 

Essential Duties for BHFO QC Team Lead

• Oversees and manages all QC staff
• Accountable for training, coaching and leading by example.
• Writes performance appraisals for department staff and coaches behavior to ensure expectations and policies are upheld.
• Motivates, organizes and encourages teamwork within the department to ensure productivity targets are met.
• Plans future capacity requirements and utilizes a forward thinking mentality.
• Responsible for problem-solving, including some technology troubleshooting and operations.
• Maintains standards of safety and security in the workplace.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to resolve issues.
• Responsible for maintaining and improving accuracy and efficiencies to increase productivity, and decrease labor costs.
• Responsible for managing BOLs and process documents within the Receiving department.
• Monitors day to day employee progress and runs productivity reports.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Physical requirements of QC Team Lead

• Able to stand/walk for up to 8 hours at a time or duration of shift, ability to twist, bend, and lift consistently.

• Able to lift, push, pull or carry objects various distances throughout the shift.
• Ability to climb a ladder.
• Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 25 pounds.
• Ability to use motorized or other equipment as necessary.  Ex:  fork lift, pallet jack, conveyors, etc.

In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this position requires cross-training on many aspects of the warehouse and will fill in as needed in any area necessary to ensure operations efficiency.  Assigns duties to maintain adequate staffing levels to ensure that activities are performed effectively and respond to fluctuating workloads. Reviews work throughout the work process to ensure accuracy.  Point of contact for Receiving department employee questions.  Contacts administration in the event of an employee sickness, injury or other issues.  Keeps the Director of Operations aware of any potential issues or concerns as they arise. Orients and trains new staff as needed.
