The Supply Chain Planner position plays a key role within the organization, working with customers, Sales, and Supply Chain daily. This role will manage the demand planning and supply chain cycle to efficiently exceed customer expectations. They will be responsible for timely and valuable communication to both internal and external customers. Attention to detail, excellent proactive communication, working as a self-starter with multitasking skills will ensure success in this role. The Supply Chain Planner will play an important role in maintaining proper inventory levels, recognizing supply chain efficiencies, and providing excellent customer service for the organization.
Responsibilities:
Demand Planning:
- Successfully compile and communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
- Conduct routine forecast maintenance.
- Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
- Review inventory for potential stockouts/backorders and proactively communicate to Supply Chain Director.
- Provide ongoing support to Sales team.
- Maintain Amazon FBA stock.
Supply Chain Management:
- Maintain Supply Chain details in coordination with the Supply Chain Director, specifically:
- Incoming shipment tracking
- Manage and optimize shipping costs
Exceptional Customer Service:
- Place customer orders and manage all activity and follow up through time of delivery.
- Maintain and review customer pricing for accuracy.
- Proactively communicate and respond to customer requests, issues, and orders, including weekly open order reports and frequent wellness calls.
Other:
- Use innovation and recommend new processes and procedures that are focused on improving efficiencies within our organization.
- All other duties and reporting as assigned.
