Baptist Health is looking for a Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team in Lexington, KY
Under limited supervision, the Clinical Research Coordinator I (CRC) coordinates patient care in compliance with local, state and federal guidelines and regulations through IRB approved protocol requirements. The clinical research coordinator uses their developing and/or basic knowledge of clinical trial research along with their hospital experience to work collaboratively with individuals associated with the care and treatment of the patient. The CRC collaborates with the investigators, research staff and other departmental stakeholders to conduct clinical trial coordination per protocol. The clinical research coordinator works collaboratively with individuals associated with the care and treatment of the patient.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred, ADN with applicable experience.
In the Oncology Research area the OCN certification required upon completion of 1st year in the research department.
Two years of clinical experience in the area of research focus.
BLS/ACLS/PALS and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment
Must be proficient with a computer including navigating websites, electronic data systems, electronic medical records, Excel, and Word.
Clinical Research Coordinator Certification through SoCRA or ACRP certification required upon one year of eligibility.
