Job Description: Weekly Hours: 32 Shift: 1st Status: Full Time Department Marketing Statement Food & Nutrition Services offers nourishing meals to patients, visitors, and Baptist Health Louisville employees. The department has about 120 employees and operates 24-hours a day/seven days a week. It provides great employment opportunities for growth and development within the department and hospital. Food & Nutrition Services can be a stepping stone to careers in healthcare. Employees may take advantage of tuition reimbursement opportunities and become medical professionals. Responsibilities Prepares and cooks retail and / or patient meals Handles food in a safe and sanitary manner. Uses food service equipment properly and safely. Participates in activities to improve Food and Nutrition services. Qualifications A. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. B. 5 or more years of experience in high volume food preparation is preferred.
