Surgical Tech Part Time Third Shift

Job Description: Part-time, third shift 2 days per week 12-hour shifts, 7p-7a Weekend and holiday rotation 15% shift differential $7,500 sign-on bonus for external employees JOB SUMMARY: The surgical technologist is a technically trained person who functions as a member of the surgical team and performs under the supervision of the Registered Nurse in the Operating Room. QUALIFICATIONS: High School diploma or GED equivalent required, or higher. Graduate of an approved Surgical Technologist program required within 6 months of hire. Associate degree preferred. BLS preferred upon hire; required within 90 days. Recent experience as a Surgical Technologist in an Acute Care Facility preferred. Good clinical, organizational, communication, customer service and critical thinking skills required. Ability to work in a stressful environment required.
