What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oil & Gas Dispatcher / Coordinator position at BidOut, Inc.?
A competent Oil & Gas Dispatcher / Coordinator must be highly detailed and work well under pressure to coordinate many changing factors. While the main priority is oil & gas bids and managing outstanding efficiently, other job duties may include:
- Managing bids (RFP, RFP, etc)
- Ensuring suppliers are properly onboarded to the BidOut platform
- Assisting both buyers and suppliers in the creation or management of an ongoing bid (RFP, RFP, etc)
- Providing demos to prospective suppliers
- Escalating issues to the development team
- Finding & sourcing out new suppliers when needed
- Handling customer complaints and inquiries
As a very fast-growing, well-capitalized startup, BidOut is seeking a dedicated individual who possesses a wide depth of skills and pursuit of challenges. Digital marketing expertise is a plus as well as someone who could be considered a 'swiss army knife'
This is not your regular corporate job.
General knowledge of oil & gas supply chain and procurement
- Minimum 2-year Associate's Degree or relevant experience
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Good customer services & communication skills
- Strong computer skills, particularly with web-based ERP systems, Google Sheets, etc
- Must be very organized, able to work with strict deadlines, and persistent in obtaining desired feedback from suppliers.
