We are hiring an experienced Human Resources Generalist (HRG). The HRG is responsible for the administration of FMLA, WC, Unemployment, and ADA processes; HRIS system administration; administers pay, benefits, and leave; and enforces company policies and practices.; conducts training and education; assists with employee relation issues.
Schedule: This is a full-time position working on-site, Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Administers the FMLA process for all BBH team members. *

Requests, collects and reviews required documentation.

Issues determination of approved / not approved within required guidelines.

Sends FMLA related correspondence.
- Maintains FMLA confidentiality in accordance with HIPPA.

Tracks FMLA time off.
-
Submits documentation and application for Short Term and/or Long-Term Disability
- coverage when applicable.

Maintains communication with employee and their supervisor regarding anticipated.

all applicable federal and state guidelines.
Administers ADA process. *

Evaluates requests for accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and

determines if the request meets the standard for reasonable accommodation.
- Drafts and distributes relative correspondence.

Maintains communication with employee and supervisor regarding the status,
- anticipated time off, return, requested / approved accommodations, etc.

Ensures that BBH remains consistent with our FMLA practices and is in compliance with

all applicable federal and state guidelines.
Manages Workers’ Compensation Process. *

Serves as primary contact for all work-related injuries.
-
Collects first report of injury and witness statements.
-
Ensures all claims are filed timely (within 3 days).

Coordinates light duty for injured workers / return to work.
- Schedules quarterly claims review meetings with w/c carrier.
-
Coordinates with payroll to provide response to requests for wage statements.
-
Serves as primary contact for claims adjuster, and other providers.

Completes the annual OSHA 300/301
- Completes the annual EEO-1 filing. *
Serves as system administrator for HRIS.
- Conducts training on use of HRIS for employees and leaders. Includes new hire.

Maintains system configuration and update.

Develops and creates workflows to aide in work efficiencies.
- Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including
but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and
investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale.

- Assists with and handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and
supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff. *
- Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. *
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in
human resources, talent management, and employment law. *
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.

A minimum of three years of human resources generalist experience preferred.

PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired.

Excellent communication and organizational skills
-
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and Talent Management systems.

Thorough knowledge of employment related laws and regulations.

Valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
