The Center Director at Large role performs a variety of duties within field operations. This role reports directly to the QA Manager and supports many aspects of the field operations team, including center accountability and mentorship throughout other areas of the region and entire network. Our ideal candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills, be a team player and dedicated to supporting our mission and branding of providing a global education for children of all ages. This candidate will be experienced in running a successful center, staff engagement and state/local licensing guidelines. ( Covering the North Carolina & South Carolina Districts)

Job Description:
- Responsible for the overall success of the schools being supported, and in providing appropriate guidance and coaching to staff.
- Ensure our global education curriculum, branding and age-appropriate learning are being utilized. Adhere to teaching standards and safety regulations as established by the state and corporate office.
- Creating marketing plans to share our unique program throughout the community and to prospective parents through special events, tours, and enrollment.
- Daily administrative duties that include accounting, budgeting, and others as assigned. Maximizing enrollment while maintaining required ratio.
- Generating reports for licensing, operations and marketing according to company guidelines. This requires the training and daily usage of various software systems.
- Responsible for meeting all licensing, training and safety requirements.
- Responsible for mentorship through the region as assigned. This may include duties such as: mentoring new center directors, helping other centers that are struggling, imparting knowledge and expertise to other centers across the region and network, being a thought leader and change agent for new initiatives.
- Acts as a role model of center leadership across the region and network.
- Responsible for travel to other sites to support and provide guidance where needed.
- Creates a positive impact on centers they are accountable for supporting.
- Will travel 75%-85% of the time, supporting schools through the organization.
- Provide in-person training and support for new leadership positions, to include system usage, recruiting best practices, licensing standards, leadership development, and more.
- Be a sounding board for Directors and management throughout the organization; provide timely and concise feedback as it relates to performance and KPIs.
- Be available when needed to travel and support urgent needs.
- Take on all Director level responsibilities when the needs arise for centers and be available to stay long periods of time within centers to support.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or related field preferred, or other related credential
- Minimum of 5 years of proven management work experience in a licensed childcare facility
- Candidate must also pass all background checks and meet state requirements
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Able to stand on your feet for long periods of time, when needed
- Able to lift at least twenty pounds.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and / or G Suite
- Experience working with financial and administrative processes and systems
- Excellent knowledge of early childhood child development and be
- Patience, flexibility and love for children
- Strong understanding of all profit and loss reporting, labor allocations, and overall budgeting.
