Warehouse Associate + Deliveries (Tuscon)

Big D Floor Covering Supplies is one of the leading wholesale suppliers to the flooring installation trade, with locations throughout the Southwest. We are looking for a full-time Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver at our Tuscon branch. The ideal candidate is consistent, energetic and willing to learn. We work in a fast-paced wholesale warehouse/retail environment serving flooring installation contractors.

This position is primarily a counter sales and warehouse role where you would be taking orders from customers as well as performing regular warehouse duties such as pulling items and stocking shelves. You'll spend the bulk of your time at the branch location. At least once a week, you may be making deliveries locally. This is a labor-intensive position where you will consistently lift items weighing up to 75 pounds or more. You may also use a pallet jack or forklift to maneuver items within the warehouse. It's a physically demanding position; but it can be rewarding for the right person.

Job Requirements:

• Must have a valid, current driver license.
• Must be 24 years of age.
• Must be able to handle and maneuver a variety of materials--single items weighing up to 75lbs.

• Must have forklift experience.
• Must be able and willing to operate a forklift and/or pallet jack
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (Ex: GED)
• Must have legal right or authorization to work in the United States

Additional qualities considered an advantage:

• Bi-lingual in Spanish
• Attention to detail
• Experience or knowledge of the flooring installation trade

Core Job Duties:

• Verifying and pulling orders for customer pick-up or delivery
• Assisting customers with loading vehicles
• Making periodic deliveries using a flatbed truck
• Receiving and stocking products delivered to our location
• Perform daily maintenance check of forklifts
• Other general warehouse duties
• Overflow duties from the store
• Any other tasks assigned by Manager or Supervisor

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour
