Position Overview:

We are currently seeking experienced and skilled carpenters to join our dynamic team. As a Carpenter at Big Dog Construction, you will play a crucial role in the construction process, working on a variety of projects from start to finish. From framing to finishing, your craftsmanship and attention to detail will ensure that our projects meet the highest standards of quality and exceed our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities:


  • Perform carpentry work according to specifications and or blueprints
  • Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials
  • Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, cabinets, and molding
  • Collaborate with other team members, including contractors and architects, to ensure timely completion of projects
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good condition
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a carpenter, with a minimum of 5  years in the construction industry
  • Proficiency in using carpentry tools and equipment
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and follow technical drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
