Managing Broker - Iowa


In this leadership role, The Managing Broker will contribute to the success of BigIron Realty and the real estate operation in Iowa by driving sales and developing a productive team. The position will perform a variety of real estate functions, including planning, overseeing, coordinating and evaluating activities and resources and for achievement of stated goals and objectives. We're looking for a broker with a proven track record of sales and building successful teams!

Essential Functions:

  • Demonstrate commitment to the Company’s mission, vision, and core values
  • Ensure conformance to office profit and strategic plans and production goals.
  • Develop and execute methodologies for enhancing profitability, productivity and cost effectiveness.
  • Promote a positive company image through the provision of superior customer service to our clients and brokers.
  • Stimulate increased production and greater usage of BigIron Realty resources and related services.
  • Focus on recruited professional talent to enhance the profitability of BigIron Realty.
  • Meet routinely with all brokers and agents for coaching and mentoring sessions.
  • Comply with BigIron policies and procedures as published by BigIron Realty and which may be modified from time to time
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required by the position.
  • Demonstrate a knowledge of practices and legal requirements
  • Utilize modern management practices and methods, including program evaluation techniques.
  • Recruit, plan, supervise and evaluate the work of brokers and agents.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships as necessitated by the demand of the role.
  • Identify administrative deficiencies and production problems, and to devise and execute effective corrective action.

Requirements and skills

  • Must hold an active Broker license with a Managing Broker Option in your state.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of client and proprietary information.
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written skills.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, etc.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.

  • Ability to embrace change and evolve
  • Knowledge of hunting, agriculture, minerals and/or other uses for land available in your state
