As a Cookie Wrapping Specialist, you are an integral part of the team to help ensure that all of our products are packaged with care to meet the quality standards expected by our customers.

Duties:

  • Safely operate packaging equipment efficiently.
  • Help to coordinate efficient product(s) movement within department areas
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Big Island Candies' Safety, Quality, and Reliability Procedures
  • Uphold Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety standards
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read, understand, write and speak English.
  • Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift
  • Must be able to follow instructions, protocols and procedures as required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to communicate and share information with diverse groups of peers, Leads and Management.
  • Honest, hardworking and caring
  • Responsible, energetic and detail oriented
  • Work well independently as well as part of a team; able to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Working Hours:

  • Currently, Full-Time DAY Shift, Monday - Friday, 7:30 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. and must be available to switch to a NIGHT shift schedule, 2:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. between August thru December.
  • Weekends and overtime may be required during peak/seasonal periods and depending on operational needs.
