What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper position at Big Picture Development?
We are seeking an in-house Bookkeeper for our 3 small companies. Our companies are in the fields of Engineering, Construction material supply and General Contracting. The following list is not meant to be a full list of duties, just a general overview of the job requirements.
· General understanding of accounting principles
- Full cycle accounting operation skills
- A positive and collaborative attitude
- An attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent mathematical, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Invoicing, including emailing invoices to customers
- Process checks received from customers
- Month end duties
- A proficiency in QuickBooks; Ajera knowledge is a bonus
- Ability to work and meet deadlines
- Dependability and punctuality
- A/R, A/P and payroll entry
- Monitoring and processing recurring auto debits
- Reconciling account & bank balances
Experience:
- Accounting/Bookeeping: 2 years (Required)
- Quickbooks: 2 years (Preferred)
- Ajera: 1 year (Preferred)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
