Interior Designer - Commercial Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Commercial Interior Designer with a strong background in project management to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience in commercial interior design projects and a proven track record of successful project execution. As the Lead Commercial Interior Designer, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire design process from concept development to project completion, ensuring high-quality design solutions that meet client objectives and project requirements. Responsibilities:

- Lead the design team in conceptualizing and developing innovative interior design concepts for commercial projects.

- Collaborate closely with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and objectives.

- Manage all aspects of project management including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project delivery.

- Oversee the production of design documentation including drawings, specifications, and material selections.

- Conduct site visits and field measurements to assess project conditions and ensure design intent is realized during construction.

- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment with junior designers, operations manager and the entire team at Big Sky

- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in commercial interior design.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.

- Minimum of three years of experience in commercial interior design with a focus on project management.

- Proficiency in design software such as Vectorworks and SketchUp.

- Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and project teams.

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
