Responsibilities:
- Apply plasterboard or other wallboard to ceilings or interior walls of buildings.
- Measure and mark surfaces to lay out work, using tape measures, straightedges or squares, and marking devices.
- Fit and fasten wallboard or drywall into position on wood or metal frameworks
- Measure and cut openings in panels or tiles for electrical outlets, windows, vents, plumbing, or other fixtures.
- Seal joints between plasterboard or other wallboard to prepare wall surfaces for painting or papering.
- Have a working knowledge of power tools and equipment
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- At least 2 years’ experience
- Motivated and self-disciplined
- Reliable and punctual
- Previous experience in the commercial construction industry preferred.
