What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Laborer position at Big Timber Contractors?

Projects can vary from large commercial jobs, to residential remodeling jobs, to a variety of maintenance person and labor work.
There is potential for growth - We are expanding and looking to grow project leads (ideally individuals who have been with the company for some time)
Minimum Expectations:

- Must be 18 years of age
- Have own transportation and valid driver’s license
- Basic knowledge of construction (Willing to provide some training in these areas)
- Read a tape measure, level, speed square, etc.
- Familiarity with basic power tools (i.e. chop-saw, hand-saw, table-saw, drill, etc)
- Must be able and willing to lift 50-75lbs unassisted
- Must be able to sustain continuous physical activity throughout the day, including but not limited to, climbing stairs, ladder work, moving heavy building materials, operating heavy building machinery, etc.
Preferred Experience:
- Ability to bring your own basic hand tools/ tool bag
- Prior experience and knowledge with finish work, drywall, painting, and/or framing

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
