What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Grocery Manager position at Big Y Foods, Inc?
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Assistant Grocery Sales Manager is responsible for providing an exceptional customer experience by presenting and ensuring the freshest quality product. Assistant Grocery Sales Managers achieve this through assisting the Grocery Sales Manager in all functions of the grocery areas including but not limited to; achieving sales/operational results through ordering, merchandising, inventory mangement, decision making, customer and employee engagement, employee development, and encouraging an inclusive team atmosphere within the department, store and company. Assistant Grocery Sales Managers are additionally responsible for compliance to all laws and company policies and procedures including labor and safety regulations, asset protection and food safety.
