Job Description: Construction Helper

Big Yeti Builders, LLC, is a rapidly growing, premier remodeling company located in Ogden, UT. The positions we’re looking to fill currently are a mix of demolition, structural framing, and finish carpentry for our custom outdoor and indoor remodeling projects. Much of your work will be building residential outdoor living spaces (i.e., decks, pergolas, gazebos, patio covers, handrail, outdoor kitchens, etc.). Our client’s projects typically last between 1 to 4 weeks, so there's always a change of scenery and work environment, as well as a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction in a job well done as we complete peoples dream spaces.

• Load and unload tools and material.
• Demolition and debris removal.
• Keep a clean and organized working environment.
• Maintain professionalism on the job and around customers.
• Reliable attendance. This is a full-time job, so 40 hours a week is expected. Missed time is expected to be made up.
• Additional duties may be assigned depending on the job and the needs of the company.

Candidates’ duties will vary depending on experience and/or how quickly you learn. In your first month you'll be learning how we do things and what to expect when working with us.

Qualifications Needed:

• Career minded people are preferred but not mandatory.
• We prefer to invest in our people as opposed to being a revolving door of employment.
• Experience is a plus, but not required.
• Possess a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Possess physical strength to move construction materials
• Ability to operate heavy and power-driven equipment.
• Ability to stand on your feet much of the day.
• Reliable transportation to and from the job sites.
• Personal smart phone required for use of project management and timecard application.
• Ability to work, communicate, and participate effectively within a team environment.
