- This is a client-facing position and requires the Director to be comfortable talking to clients and new business prospects, and representing the expertise of the agency in omni-channel media solutions and data-driven optimizations.
- This position is responsible for generating new business, managing and overseeing estimates, both traditional and digital media campaigns, and all analytics.
- The Director should be flexible and nimble while solving problems, and able to see the bigger picture goals of the agency while keeping the team on track and on schedule.
- Self-start data exploration and propose new data/analytic opportunities that could potentially grow business, improve operational efficiency, or create new product offerings.
- Contribute to overall company data/analytics strategies by supporting cross training and knowledge sharing, as well as encouraging data-driven decision making process.
- May travel for client meetings or new business pitches.
- The Media & Analytics Director reports to the Vice President Media & Analytics, and manages the Media and Analytics teams.
- Has a modern, sophisticated understanding of analytics and media buying.
- Comfortably handles negotiations, media buying, and vendor management.
- Is an avid media consumer with a keen interest in the effect of the Internet and digital technology on media consumption (digital-focused questions will be asked in the interview).
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field preferred.
- 6-8 years experience in digital advertising or in an advertising agency, media buying or programmatic media buying experience is required, as is extensive experience in analytics.
- 2 years of people management experience is required.
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Looker, Ad server experience, DSP, project management, and media research experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
