Job Description
The primary role involves successfully delivering the technical solution to the agreed scope in accordance with the company standards processes and procedures whilst also meeting budgetary and time-scale targets. The person should be pro-active and strive for high quality as standard. This role involves very frequent travel.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Responsible for PLC and HMI programing as per customer requirements.
- Able to complete tasks independently with no supervision
- Responsible for meeting the technical and quality requirements of project
- Ensure project adherence to company quality processes and procedures
- Configure software solution in various PLC hardware platforms, Studio5000 & TIA Portal
- Identify any deviations from agreed functionality or scope and notify Automation Manager
- Develop & implement standard practices to ensure quality improvement and cost reduction.
- Undertake site surveys as required.
- Support outline design, upfront design studies and requirement definition for clients
- Knowledge of standard PLC and instrument hardware.
- Undertake loop checking, cold and hot commissioning and finally SAT according to relevant quality plan processes and procedures.
Knowledge Skills And Abilities
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field
- (1-3) years of automation PLC and HMI experience
- Familiarity with both hardware and software solutions
- AutoCAD experience
