We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate K-8th Grade Building Nurse to join our team for the 23/24 School Year from August 16, 2023, to May 30, 2024. This is a full-time position, 32.5 hours per week, with working hours from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general nursing duties and care to students in a K-8th Grade school building.
- Administer medications and handle medical emergencies during school hours.
- Maintain student health records and conduct health screenings.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff on health-related matters to ensure student well-being.
- Promote overall wellness within the school community.
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Illinois.
- Experience in school nursing or pediatric care is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle medical emergencies with composure and efficiency.
