RN Operating Room

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures. Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures
• Prepare operating rooms with necessary equipment and supplies
• Monitor patients' vital signs before, during, and after surgery
• Administer medications and anesthesia as directed by the surgeon
• Ensure sterile techniques are followed to prevent infections
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans for patients
• Educate patients and their families about preoperative and postoperative care
• Document patient information, including medical history and surgical outcomes
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment

Requirements:

• Valid nursing license (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an operating room setting
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work well within a team environment
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $66.00 - $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

• Nursing: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• RN (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Homestead, PA 15120 (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Homestead, PA 15120: Relocate before starting work (Required)
